Kylee recently went back to short hair after growing it out for a few years. It has taken a few haircuts over the past few months but I think she finally got it the way she wants it.

New Beginning

This is a new blog and I wrestled with what to start it with. What entry would capture our lives together right now. Then it hit me, new beginnings. This is a new blog and it should be about the next phase of our lives. What sums that up more than the recent birth of our best friends first child Conner. So here we go, The next phase.

Chris' 27th Bday July 2009

On the way to celebrate Chris' bday we had to stop and get a picture of the corn. There are a ton of corn fields around here.

After The Wedding

After the wedding we had cake to celebrate our anniversary and our birthdays. Since they are all so close together we had one celebration.

Zane and Kara's Big Day June 2009

Our 5yr Anniversary June 2009

We went to NM for Zane and Kara's wedding and it was the same weekend as our 5yr anniversary. So we took a few hours to go to Ruidoso to have lunch and to see some friends.

Bdays

This pic is of Meredith and Lezlie, two ladies I work with. They had bdays in May and we decorated their offices. They each got to wear the bday crown.


Then when it was my bday my desk got decorated too and I got the bday crown.


I got a manicure and pedicure for my bday. Love being pampered.


I chose my bday dinner to be at Zorba's a Greek food restuarant. It was great. Alina and Jason went with us.

San Antonio Here We Come

We got to go to San Antonio for Memorial Day weekend. Chris lived there when he was younger and I hadn't been there since high school. Our friends Jason and Alina were there as well. So we got to hang out. We went to the Tower of Americas, went to the zoo, went to the Alamo and just did some site seeing. It was a great weekend trip.

Thought this was funny. The rice came out in a pyramid.

We went looking for some breakfast the first morning we were in San Antonio and a tour guide lady told us about this great breakfast joint. Very hole-in-the-wall and run by these funny dudes. It was great food though. We had breakfast there all three days we were there.
