Texarkana Trip

We decided to take a trip to Texarkana to see Chris' family this past weekend. Chris gets Sundays and Mondays off and since I are currently unemployed we decided this would be a good time to go over there. It's only about 2 and a half hours away from us. We had a good time with Chris' mom and sisters. His dad was away working so we didn't get to see him this time, but we'll be spending Thanksgiving with them.

The Rest of the Apartment

We have alot of space in the apartment, so the bathroom and bedroom are great. I can't wait till we have enough money to buy a bedroom set. Right now our bedroom looks drap and ugly. It's just waiting to be accessorized. :) There are two doors to the bathroom so people who come over don't have to walk through our bedroom to get to the bathroom. That was the only thing about our last apartment that I didn't like. So this one is a good one.

Great Apartment

This is our new apartment. We think it's great and it's practically brand new. So that's good. I think I finally have everything unpacked and in a place. Not necissarily that place it will stay, but a place for now.

New Apartment Community Pics

We live in The Colony, TX and we live at an apartment complex called Austin Ranch. It's so huge. I'll take some pics of the community and post them later. There are pics of our building and the view from our balcony. In the second picture you can see our balcony. It's on the top floor to the left of the sign. Luck us on the top floor. No one above us and we get excercise every time we come home. The fourth picture shows our parking lot and we have a big sundial in it. That's what the big green thing is. The numbers are on the right side of the parking lot. I have gone out there to see if it actuals shows the time. And in the last picture you can see a yellow house. That house is like 100 years old and was going to be torn down so Austin Ranch moved it to the property and tenants can rent it out to have visitors stay in it. Alternative to staying in a hotel. It's kindof pricey but really neat idea.

Saying Goodbye

I got this sweatshirt as a going away present from Regina, my boss, so we had to take a picture of me in it. Thanks, it's a great sweatshirt! And then a pic of me and mom. I had a hard time the last couple days I was in New Mexico. Just saying goodbye is terrible, especially to my family. But I made it through. Miss them terribly but they're not too far away. We get to come back for Christmas, so I'm looking forward to that.

Last Day in Roswell

We stopped in Roswell to stay the night to see my family and break up the trip to Texas a little. We went to a Shane and Shane concert at one of the churches in Roswell. It was great. They are so talented. We were there with my mom, Zane, Kara (Zane's girlfriend), and her sisters, and Rob.

Finally Back Together!

These are some silly pictures Chris and I took after I picked him up from the airport. We were doing America's Next Top Model poses. I had alot of time on my hands and watched literally all of the seasons while Chris was gone. So we tried to do our best poses. I don't think we could make it in the modeling world.

Friend Pics

Here are some pics of friends from Las Cruces. Rachel and Andy, Desi and Justin, and I went out for lunch one last time at La Posta in Mesilla. It was great finding a great church with great people. I miss you guys. And my friend Travis B. He's an engineering student at NMSU and he works for PSL. Good guy. :)

Going Away Party Pics

Just a few pics of people that came to my party. The IT group - you guys are great. Jeremy B. - hope homework isn't killing you. Renate and Lorraine - such sweet ladies. The shipping guys Ryan and Louis - always nice to see you guys. Ryan doesn't like to smile in pics. What a shame, his smile is nice. I miss all of you at PSL. Stay in touch.

My Going Away Party at PSL

We had a going away party and my boss' husband Ruben made my cake. It was so great. Very creative. Thank you Ruben! And we always have to have the HR people photo. Chaveli, our student, me and Regina, my boss and friend.

PSL Homecoming 2007

This was Homecoming at PSL this year. My last big event before I moved away. These are pictures of float that we put in the parade and we got second place. Homecoming is the reason I stayed while Chris moved away. But I'm so glad I stayed. It was a great experience. And this is Mr. Allan Baker. I've worked with him as a student and as a full time staff. We decided to take a photo after the picnic.
