More 4th of July

I had to put this picture of my mom. It's so hilarious. We got a little bored and started taking some pics. Chris took the one of my mom when she wasn't expecting it. And then I was just posing for pics.

4th of July in Portland

We got to spend the 4th with Zach. He ran a partial marathon that morning and then we spent the day with his girlfriend Rachel's family. Her sister has a house right on Lake Oswego. It was pretty neat. We hung out and listened to the boys play guitar and my mom even got in the water which is amazing because she can't swim. Mom, Zach, Rachel, and her friend went for a row out in the lake.

Redwoods

We drove a little way through the Redwood Forrest. We were really sad because we missed the main drive that you can take that shows all of the amazing trees. We just got off the road and walked a little and took some pics. And the ocean was beautiful in Northern Cali. We also missed the actual drive through tree. We saw this sign and this was a little tree that someone cut out of, it looked like, in their backyard. It was funny. So we actually could drive our cars through this tree even though it looks so small. We missed alot along the way just because our drive was so long and we needed to get where we were going. It was still good.

Joe's Crab Shack and Golden Gate Bridge

We went to Joe's Crab Shack, just us kids for the night. Zane was being crazy as usual. And the day we were leaving, the Golden Gate bridge was covered in fog. It was still impressive.

San Francisco

San Francisco was pretty neat. It was kind-of dirty and scary, but ok. We rode the buses all over town. Our hotel was one of the only ones that didn't have bars on the windows. I don't know if that was a good or bad thing. It was in a good location though. We could see a little of the Golden Gate bridge from our room. We didn't get to go to Alcatraz because it was booked for three weeks. So we just took a picture of it. And we went to Pier 39 which was really neat.

Sea World Sharks

The first picture is of that old shark that was huge. I forgot what it's called. I couldn't image being in the water with a shark that large. This is a funny picture. We went into this water tunnel where sharks were swimming all around us. If you look closely you can see a shark above us to the left. We were on a moving escalator thing so we were trying to take the picture before the shark was out of the picture.

San Diego Sea World

We ate lunch at the Shiprock Cafe and it was really good but pretty pricey. This was my first time to go to Sea World and it was alright. Chris says that the San Antonio Sea World is better. But according to him, everything is better in Texas. :) But it was pretty neat to see Shamu and the tricks.

San Diego

We stayed with my cousin Angela and her husband Jeff. It was a good time. Jeff cooked us a wonderful meal the first night. Delicious. And we went to the beach. We had a good time in the waves. That's Chris and Zane riding the wave. All of us downed some sea water and Zane found a seaweed necklace. So funny.

Vacation Pics Finally

Here are some pictures from our two week trip. I only have time to do them in stages, so the first ones will be Arizona, San Diego, and San Fran. These are the first pictures I took. It's when I finally decided to wake up. But this is Chris and I and then some rocks in Arizona.

New Furniture!

While my mom was working, Zane, Chris and I decided put my parents couch up for sale in the garage sale. We thought it was bought, but the guy never came back for it. So my mom bought a new couch anyway. It was time. This new couch is so comfy. Chris and I slept on it the first night to test it out.

Garage Sale in Roswell

I convinced my mom to clean out the house and have a garage sale. It was alot of work, but we did it. Our earnings will go toward our two week trip we are taking next week to the west coast. We are going to San Diego, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, and Montana. Wu Hu. We will definately share some pics when we get back.

Happy News!

Chris sold his second house. It closed on June 12th. So exciting! Hopefully he will keep going.

And Chris just likes to take pictures of me when I take pictures of him.

Kylee's 26th B-Day

These are just some pics from my birthday on Monday. Chris was being goofy. I had to work on my birthday, but we went out to dinner at Ruby Tuesdays that night. It was a good day.

NMSU Campus

This is on the NMSU campus close to my work. One day these bushes were ugly green bushes and the next day they had all these flowers. It was crazy. The campus of NMSU has some beautiful sites.

Good Food

Lorenzo's is one of our favorite places to eat. And it's such a beautiful building. We got a gift card from the people that Chris sold his first house to. Yummy! This Lorenzo's is in Old Mesilla so it's very cultural. This roadrunner is made out of old shoes. And it's covered in Christmas lights. It would have been great if the lights were on.
